Where the businesses actually are

Crestmead Industrial Estate

Opened in May 1983 on the western side of the suburb, with lots running from 1,800 square metres to 2.6 hectares, built for light to medium industry operating 24 hours a day.

Crestmead Logistics Estate

At the corner of Green Road and Clarke Road, approved by Logan City Council in 2020. The developer described a $1.5 billion, nine stage project delivering 650,000 square metres of warehousing, business, logistics and manufacturing space and up to 6,000 jobs.

South West 1 Enterprise Park, Berrinba

Established by Logan City Council in 2013. Occupiers reported in 2020 included Phoenix Transport, National Tiles, PACCAR, GMK, Avery Dennison, Huhtamaki, Sigma Healthcare and Wing.

Wembley Business Park, Berrinba

A GPT Group logistics estate on Wembley Road, beside the Logan Motorway interchange of the same name. The Wembley Road interchange upgrade under the Logan Enhancement Project directly serves Berrinba and Crestmead.

Park Ridge and North Maclean

The other two Major Enterprise and Industrial Areas named in the Employment Lands Strategy (2020), on the Mount Lindesay Highway corridor west and south of Browns Plains. North Maclean sits between the Greater Flagstone development area and Bromelton.

Springwood

The office and services centre of Logan, at the junction of the Pacific Motorway and immediately north of the Logan Motorway, redeveloped around the Springwood busway station. Population was 9,710 at the 2021 Census, median age 40 years.

Slacks Creek and the Logan Mega Centre

HomeCo. Logan at 3525 Pacific Highway runs about 28 large format tenancies including Anaconda, Spotlight, Fantastic Furniture, Snooze, Early Settler and Ashley Furniture, with over 800 undercover parking spaces. The suburb’s industrial area grew out of the Moss Street subdivision in the 1960s.

Underwood

Bounded by Millers Road, Underwood Road, the South East Freeway, Logan Road and roughly Compton Road. The Logan Planning Scheme 2015 Specialised Centre zone carries both a Highway business precinct and an Underwood business precinct, and the 2009 Springwood master plan encouraged motor vehicle showrooms to consolidate around Compton Road and the Logan Mega Centre.

Logan Hyperdome, Shailer Park

Opened in August 1989 with 144 retailers, owned outright by Queensland Investment Corporation since 2013, with Big W and a 12 screen Event Cinemas. A $17 million renovation in August 2015 created The Market Room. It sits at the Pacific Motorway and Logan Motorway junction.

Grand Plaza, Browns Plains

The major centre for Logan’s western suburbs, on the Mount Lindesay Highway corridor, with Browns Plains bus station anchoring the local bus network. Marsden and Crestmead sit immediately east.

Meadowbrook

The health and education precinct. Logan Hospital sits at the corner of Armstrong Road and Loganlea Road, run by Queensland Health through Metro South Health, alongside the Griffith University Logan campus.

Logan Central and Woodridge

The civic centre, holding the council civic precinct, Logan Central Plaza and the Logan Entertainment Centre, with Woodridge railway station on the Beenleigh line and the planned Logan Indoor Sports Centre about 750 metres walk from the station.

Beenleigh town centre

The town grew from a sugar plantation established in 1864, and the railway from Brisbane opened on 25 July 1885. The Beenleigh Town Centre Master Plan (September 2011) sets six precincts and forecast 252,215 square metres of commercial, retail, industrial and community floorspace by 2031, with a regional catchment extending about 15 kilometres. Council rebuilt the streetscape in two stages in 2021, making Main Street one way and City Road one way southbound.

Yatala Enterprise Area

Named here because it is not in Logan. Yatala and Stapylton sit south of the Albert River in the City of Gold Coast, under that council’s planning scheme and its local area plan. A Beenleigh or Eagleby business that leases or trades there is dealing with a second council.

The industries Logan is built on

Business counts are ABS Counts of Australian Businesses at 30 June 2024, indexed against the Queensland share. Where a figure is not published for this area, it says so.

Ask what it is worth

Free, in writing, and nobody finds out you asked. Tell me the trade and the suburb and I will do the rest.

Give me one or the other. Both is easier.

Optional. It only changes how I prepare.

Before you send this. Tony Pope, licensed Queensland business broker (ETP Consulting Pty Ltd as trustee for ETP Investments Trust, ABN 36 211 950 299, OFT licence 4963575) collects what you type here so I can answer you and, if you ask for one, prepare an appraisal. I do not sell or rent it. There is no newsletter, and the only list is the optional one you can tick below. Leaving it unticked is recorded as a no, not as a blank. Alongside what you type, this form records the IP address it came from, the browser and device you used, and the page or search that sent you here, so I can tell a real enquiry from an automated one. If you go on to sell, the law requires me to verify your identity and to keep those records for seven years. Some of what I hold is processed outside Australia: bookings through Calendly and website analytics through Google are handled in the United States, the automated check that tells a person from a robot on this form is run by Cloudflare in the United States, if you use the chat assistant your conversation is processed by Anthropic in the United States, and the email this form sends is processed by Resend in Japan. The record itself is stored in Australia. You do not have to give me any of this, but without a name and a way to reach you I cannot reply. The privacy policy explains how to see what I hold, correct it, or complain. Read the privacy policy.

Nobody finds out you are selling. This goes to me only, into my own database in Sydney. I will not contact your accountant, your landlord, your bank or your staff, ever, unless you ask me to.
